Viewing Contact Activity Timeline

Every contact in your CRM has an activity timeline — a chronological record of every interaction between that person and your brand.

What is tracked

The timeline records:

  • Page views — Which pages the contact visited and when
  • Project views — Specific projects they looked at
  • Floorplan views — Specific floorplans they examined
  • Form submissions — Contact forms, registration forms
  • Email activity — Emails sent, opened, clicked
  • Appointments — Bookings created, completed, cancelled
  • Notes — Manual notes added by team members
  • Stage changes — When the contact moved through pipeline stages
  • Tasks — Tasks created and completed related to this contact

Reading the timeline

Events are displayed in reverse chronological order (newest first). Each entry shows:

  • A timestamp
  • The event type icon
  • A description of what happened
  • The team member involved (if applicable)
Page view tracking requires the visitor to be identified. Anonymous visitors are tracked separately and their history is merged once they submit a form with their email address.

Using the timeline for outreach

Before calling a client, review their timeline. Knowing that they viewed a specific floorplan yesterday gives you a natural conversation opener. Seeing that they opened your last email but did not click tells you the subject was interesting but the content needs adjustment.

Exporting activity

You can export a contact full activity history as a CSV from their detail page. This is useful for compliance records or when transferring a client to another agent.
