Collaborator Access

Real estate transactions involve multiple parties. Grant limited access to collaborators so they can view relevant information without full admin access.

Who to invite

Common collaborators include:

  • Real estate lawyer — Needs access to APS, amendments, closing documents
  • Mortgage broker — Needs purchase price, deposit schedule, occupancy timeline
  • Accountant — Needs purchase summary, deposit receipts, cost breakdown
  • Co-investing partner — Needs the full portfolio view for shared investments

Inviting a collaborator

  1. Open the unit detail page
  2. Click Collaborators > Invite
  3. Enter the collaborator email address and name
  4. Select their access level:
    • View only — Can see unit details and documents
    • Documents — Can see and download documents only
    • Full — Can see everything including market valuations and comps
Invite your client lawyer to the portfolio before closing. They can access the APS and amendments directly instead of you emailing documents back and forth.

Managing collaborator access

From the Collaborators section, you can:

  • View who has access to each unit
  • Change access levels
  • Revoke access at any time

Collaborator experience

Collaborators receive an email invitation with a link to view the unit. They do not need to create a full account — they authenticate via a magic link sent to their email.
